Interim Pastor, First Baptist Church Madison, SD                                        October 2016 -December 2017

My main duties are Sunday morning preaching and Wednesday night worship and Bible study. I also attend all board meetings, prepare baptismal candidates, and provide pastoral care visits to congregants. I am in the building stages of an outreach ministry to encourage congregants to use the gifts God gave them.

Student Ministry Coordinator, Hillcrest Church Sioux Falls, SD                         June 2011-October 2016

I created a Sunday School Program which I recruited volunteers to facilitate the program, I facilitated “180 Wednesday Nights” which included: contacting parents, sending out informational emails, creating & presenting lesson plans, planning & facilitating game time, creating age appropriate events, plan activities & trips, supervise activities & trips, creating a calendar, recruiting volunteers, mentoring students, and network with other Churches for functions. My goal was encouraging them in their spiritual journey with Christ.

Food Services, YMCA Sioux Falls, SD                                                                             May 2015-August 2016

I was trained in the Summer Food Service Program for the state of South Dakota for Leif Ericson Day Camp. My duties included: keeping  the program paper work up to date, gathering serving volunteers, supervising kids, serving balanced meals, and delivering food to students ages 6-16.

Lead Teacher at Eastside Learning Center, Youth Enrichment Services, SD    June 2012-August 2014

I worked with ages 0 – 11. I cared for them and provided activities for them to do after their curriculum time and before parents would come to pick them up. This included gym and outside play time, centers where they could develop their imagination and using cd music and musical instruments to get them actively dancing. Through this position, I planned out a schedule with curriculum that has been provided, substituting lessons in as needed. I facilitated activities that engage the students and have them learning without really realizing it. We provide them transportation from school to the site, snack, recess, and learning activities while they wait to be picked up by a parent/guardian.
